There's only so much you can learn about a university from a website. The best way to discover Ave Maria is to experience it for yourself.
The Ave Maria Experience (AME) is our signature two-day, overnight campus experience created especially for prospective students. Stay on campus, meet current students, sit in on classes, connect with professors, attend Mass, explore campus, and experience the joyful Catholic community that makes Ave Maria unlike anywhere else.

Students who attend an Ave Maria Experience and later enroll at Βι¶ΉΣ³» will receive a $2,000 AME Scholarship β€” $500 per year for four years.*

9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Check-In, Activities Fair, and Breakfast
Location: Student Union Building (SUB) & Ballroom
Enjoy a light breakfast while connecting with Βι¶ΉΣ³» ambassadors and staff, and discover opportunities in student life, campus ministry, and clubs.
10:00 - 10:15 a.m.
Welcome Address
Location: SUB Ballroom
Speaker: Dan Donaldson, Vice President of Enrollment
10:15 - 11:15 a.m.
Campus Tours
Location: Depart from SUB and end at Academic Lawn
Go on a personalized tour of Βι¶ΉΣ³»'s Campus and meet representatives from a variety of Βι¶ΉΣ³»'s academic programs.
11:15 - 11:45 a.m.
Academics Fair
Location: Outside Canizaro Library
Meet your prospective faculty, learn about your area of interest, etc.
12:00 - 12:45 p.m.
Daily Mass (Optional)
Location: Ave Maria Parish
12:45 - 2:00 p.m.
Luncheon and Academic Q&A
Location: SUB Ballroom
Speakers: Dr. Roger Nutt, Provost; Dan Donaldson, Vice President of Enrollment
2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Mock Classes + Parent Tracks
Location: Students: Academic Building, Demetree Lecture Hall; Parents: Thomas and Selby Prince Building (Prince Building), O'Bryan Performance Hall
Students attend mock classes with professors while parents hear from Βι¶ΉΣ³» staff and parents and also learn about financial aid, faith formation, campus life, and our Honors College from Dr. Michael Breidenbach, Dean of the Honors College.
4:00 - 4:30 p.m.
Host Introductions and Parent Departure
Location: Female students: SUB Enrollment Lounge; Male students: Prince Building; Parents: Depart campus
