INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS

Welcome to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) is administered through the Office of the Provost. OIE supports the University through coordination and management of the Institution’s accreditation compliance responsibilities, student learning and operational assessment reporting cycles, as well as leading and collaborating with other units on institutional research projects.

Department Mission

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness advances the 鶹ӳ mission by providing leadership and support in the areas of accreditation, campus assessment and institutional research. OIE collaboratively collects and provides data and information about the University to internal and external stakeholders through primary and secondary research and coordinates outcomes assessment for the University.   

What We Do

The OIE strives to make a positive difference for our students, faculty, staff, and community by supporting our institutional mission as a university operating in the Catholic liberal arts tradition and to increase our efforts to continuously improve operations across campus.

The OIE is responsible for directing or being directly involved in the following campus assessment administration, management and activities:

  • SACSCOC Accreditation, Reporting and Substantive Changes
  • Student Learning Assessment Reports
  • Operational Assessment Reports
  • Course Evaluations
  • Mid-Semester Surveys
  • The NSSE and CSS
  • 鶹ӳ Factbook
