Testimonials
Lienne Adamsone: Jazz Be Nimble Dance School
Jazz Be Nimble really enjoyed having a recital at Y.C.D.S.B. Centre for the Arts. It was a great experience for our students and parents. Lights and music was done very professionally and all of our requests were met. The theatre was clean and the staff were friendly and professional. We will be having our annual recital here again.
Noel Pinto, Doug Frenandes, Frances Correa: Canorient Christians Association
We have had the pleasure of producing two shows at the Â鶹ӳ» Theatre, over the past two years. On each occasion, we have had excellent feedback from the audience, and a good deal of the credit goes to Doug Speare, the theatre manager. From the start of the process, he was always very cooperative, advising us on the best course of action, and providing every assistance. He was always very professional in his actions, going over the top to make us feel comfortable and making our shows run, even under somewhat trying conditions at times. for our part, we found the theatre very appropriate for a number of reasons. It is centrally located with ample parking. It is very intimate, and filled with state of the art equipment. The acoustics are formidable, the stage is impressive and easily adaptable, and the seats are numbered and comfortable. we had memorable experiences at both shows and I would highly recommend the theatre for any type of show.
Jacqueline Cook-Barber: JCB Danceworks
JCB Danceworks is a dance studio in Richmond Hill. We have rented the Â鶹ӳ» Centre for the Arts at St. Elizabeth for the past 4 years for the purpose of our competitive group dress rehearsal. Doug Speare and his staff have been great to work with and very accommodating for us. The facility has been a wonderful venue for our groups to perform. We would highly recommend this theatre for use for dance groups of all sizes.
Rabbi Levi Jacobson: Jewish Russian Community Centre
We have been using the Â鶹ӳ» Centre of the Arts yearly since 2010, and our experience has been flawless. Our schedule is a loaded and challenging one, but the administration worked with us to accommodate the needs of our community. Mr. Speare is always very helpful and attentive to help make sure our services are an enjoyable experience for all the participants. I highly recommend that you rent the theatre for your future functions.
David Farro: Holy Cross C.A.
Holy Cross has been using the Â鶹ӳ» Centre for the Arts for over five years and we will continue to rent the theatre for our future productions. Mr. Doug Speare, theatre manager at Â鶹ӳ» Centre for the Arts, always makes himself available for production questions both pre and post show and enjoys working and teaching the students the complexities of theatrical production. The theatre is always kept remarkably clean and is very welcoming to the students, staff and families of the Holy Cross Community. The staff at Â鶹ӳ» Centre for the Arts is welcoming, very knowledgeable and always makes us feel right at home during our week of production.
